Of course those who prefer breakfast alfresco may take a seat on our garden patio. Hilltop garden mixes formal elements such as boxwood hedges and bluestone paving with the joyous abandon of a cottage garden and the laughing background song of our fountain.

In the afternoon, after you have enjoyed some of Newport's world class attractions or sailed, join us back at the Hilltop for sweets and savories. Your palate will delight in assorted cheeses, dips, hummus, olives, and nuts, all made fresh from local ingredients.

In the evening, upon your return from dinner, enjoy sweets prepared for you daily along with hot coffee or tea and other assorted beverages. You may enjoy all of the above on the sun porch, or instead take a seat in our elegant dining room (seating for 8) which has handsome upholstered paisley walls and another of Hilltop's restored fireplaces.

If you prefer to get your exercise on the go, we can arrange bike rentals for you, provide biking trail maps as well as area walking maps for your enjoyment.
